We start with introductions, feeding and llama etiquette — ten minutes in, you'll have a favorite. (It's usually Pedro. Don't tell the others.)
Red-rock views close to Garden of the Gods on land only our guests walk. Easy gravel-road pace or single-track adventure — your llama is happy either way.
Five llamas, one misty (llama mom, alpaca dad), two very good dogs — and a baby cria on the way. Follow the herd on @luxy_llama.
Llamas don't hurry. Around them, people put their phones down, breathe slower and come back to the moment — it's the whole reason we exist.
Real days, real trails, really good hair. Tap any photo to enlarge.

Nicole Nicoletta, Executive Director · Rocky Mountain Women's Film"It's hard to explain how happy people feel around llamas. People let their guard down, and they're really in the moment with the animals. It's all smiles."
Terry McConnell, founder · as featured in Springs Magazine"The whole experience with the llamas was amazing! The little shelter at the front is adorable and we loved meeting the sweet llamas. The views on the walk were beautiful and I saw things I have never seen in that area before. The walk was also very easy to do. It was peaceful and I can't wait to do it again. The owner, Terry is so kind and accommodating. I can't recommend this enough."

No. Our private trail has an easy gravel-road option and a single-track option with a bit more challenge. Llamas set a wonderfully humane pace, and we tailor every walk to the group.
Meet & greets welcome ages 5 and up, hikes are for ages 7 and up, and Wine & Cheese evenings are 21+. Tell us about your crew when you book.
Colorado skies change fast — if conditions aren't safe, we'll work with you to reschedule. Llamas dislike lightning exactly as much as you do.
Closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, a hat, a rain jacket and water. Heads-up: there are no restrooms at the farm or on the trail, and we can't host pets or outside food — plan accordingly.
Llamas teach consent — you earn their trust first. Move slowly, offer grain, and you may well get a cheek nuzzle. No squeezing; their boundaries are part of the magic (and the lesson).
On the west side of Colorado Springs (80904), minutes from Garden of the Gods. Exact directions arrive with your booking confirmation.
Hikes and meet & greets run May–October; Wine & Cheese evenings run May–September. Private events, corporate sessions and resort brunches happen year-round.
Both. Our herd partners with the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience at UCCS, whose clinicians use llama walks in resilience-care programs. We don't make medical claims — we just watch shoulders drop, every single visit.
Our mission is to provide you with a fun, interesting and unique outdoor experience.
We are confident you will leave feeling more grounded, connected and joyful.
